Book your spot at the bottom of the page for £20, 100% of entry fees go to our two excellent mental health charities. The object of the Pearson Inside Out Gravel Series is to introduce and enjoy outstanding gravel riding, which exists in and around London! We also aim to highlight the benefits of cycling to our mental wellbeing. Riding on gravel helps to immerse riders amongst natural environments, into cleaner air and on to quieter byways, providing great headspace and a wealth of comradery between fellow riders. OVERVIEW Our gravel event returns for a second year. It’s ideal for gravel bikes, MTBs, cyclocross bikes & ebikes & takes in the best gravel trails of East Devon. New for 2021 is our extreme 100K route. All four routes take in some of the best sections of Woodbury Common. Highlights include Woodbury Castle & some great single track on the common, a section of the Exe Estuary path, a climb up for views of the sea at the top of Beacon Hill and also Mutter Moor. The routes are designed to be ridden on a gravel bike but a cyclocross bike or a lightweight XC mountain bike will be almost as quick. E-mountain bikes are also welcome. Choose from the full 100km or shorter 85km or 50km routes; all are fully supported, including full route marking and feed and support stops, so all you have to do is concentrate on enjoying this epic ride! Taking in sections of the Roman Fosse Way and off road tracks in the hills including the Cotswolds Way & Monarchs Way, this is a great day on the bike suitable to new & experienced gravel riders in a lovely part of the country. We’re sure that this news won’t come as a surprise to most of you, but having tried to keep Reiver hopes alive, we must now concede that we won’t all be gathering in Kielder in April. The Dirty Reiver 2021 is now booked in for the weekend of September 11th. We have also agreed an April 2022 date with Forestry England too (weekend of April 23rd). You now have three options: 1. Leave your entry live for September 11th 2. Request a refund 3. Transfer your entry to April 2022 Option 1 is the default, so if you want to ride the event in September, you can sit back and relax, safe in the knowledge that you are entered (actually – get out and keep training).
